Rose Hill Area

Some informal trails and routes on either side of Rose Hill Road.

Driving Directions/Trailheads:

  • There are many possible trailheads, but for this page we will start at Rose Hill Park.
  • There are fencelines and private property areas so all routes require some exploration (local knowledge).

 

Trails:

  • The gasline and powerline tracks make good east-west routes.
  • Juniper Ridge can be reached on the double track east.
  • Some single tracks drop onto the Lower Rose Trails.
  • Trails to the west arrive at fencelines or gates.   The area above is private property (Frolek Ranches).   Some mountain bike routes connect Peterson Creek, but hikers need to be mindful of fences and signage.
  • Scott Road has been used as part of a hiking loop route, but new development, fences, and signage may be encountered along the way.
