    • Hi, Shawn – The answer to your question is too long to include in a comment here, but I can give a short answer. There are many online resources that are free or you can pay for that provide mapping services. From those you can create a map and save it as a PDF, jpg, png, etc. Some allow you to import GPS tracks, many to add overlays, and more. For this site I use a variety of apps to create a basemap, then I edit the image as needed. I rely on Topofusion, CalTopo, and Google Maps most often. There are also some more technical things that can be done with other tools, but you can create maps for free using simple online tools for a start.
