McConnell Lake Provincial Park is a small park off the Lac le Jeune Road with a popular lake used by hikers, fishermen and paddlers.

Driving Directions:

McConnell Lake is about 25 km south of Kamloops on the Lac le Jeune Road.   Turn left at the sign and go down to the parking area next to the lake.

Trailhead:

  • Park in the cleared area by the lake and start the trail in either direction
  • The lake is also used by dog walkers, fishermen and paddlers so the parking area becomes full in season at peak times

 

Trails:

  • There is a 3.5 km loop trail around the lake which can be hiked in either direction.
  • On the east side of the lake is a side trail that goes up the hill to join with the Sidewinder Trail in the Stake Lake trail system.
