To paddle Kamloops Lake we can launch from Savona, Tobiano, or Cooney Bay. Heffley Lake remains one of our best lakes for paddling. It has not yet been overdeveloped, although the northern shoreline gradually has more homes, docks, and private developments. One of the easiest put-in points is at the Pioneer Park boat launch. There is lots of parking, a good launch site, and easy access into the river but there is one drawback.
