Stake Lake and McConnell Lake Rec Sites are officially “closed”, but the gates are open to the parking areas and lots of people are fishing, paddling, hiking, walking, and biking the inner trails.    The southeastern area is too close to the forest fire burn and should not be entered.    

Please use your own judgement as to whether you choose to use the lakes or the trails and if the gate is locked and evacuations are declared, obey the orders.    As always, be careful and be responsible.
