There are about 70 lakes to paddle in our area and many kilometers of rivers too.   About 50 of the lakes are documented on the website at this time and a number of the area rivers too.

A Google Map shows the lakes and rivers, but it is still in progress.   All blue canoe icons are at the boat launch for that spot and there is an article on the website already.   The red icons are places yet to be paddled.

The map will be updated as we finish each paddling area.

Lakes and Rivers — 3 Comments

  1. Thank you so much for doing this blog, I am enjoying it very much, sure wish I had found it sooner. It’s so nice to know that others are also paddling lakes. I started back in 2006 after my cancer treatment as part of my lifestyle change – moving and eating better. I have 4 canoes that I use, and have them set up for rowing so my shoulders don’t complain to much (I’m an old guy). At this time I have 405 lakes under my belt, big and small, mostly from BC, but also have a few Alberta lakes and two in Washington state. I love this project as it takes me places that I would never have thought of going. Keep up the good work, and thanks again for all your information. Blessings, Tom.

  2. Hey, just wondering where the photo at the bottom (the flooded tree surrounded by lily pads) was taken?. Looks familiar to me, but I can’t place it.
Thanks, also thanks for the great site full of useful info.
