We hiked down to the Tranquille River near the Watching Creek confluence, crossed the river by rock hopping and then hiked along the rim of the canton south.    We explored a side trail to the Opax Hoodoo, then dropped down to the river.    The crossing was more difficult on the lower end, but we managed to cross, then hiked along the western rim of the canyon, then back to the trailhead.   A post and video to follow.
