Hikes in Hawai’i
On successive trips to Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii we have hiked as many trails as we can and then on return we have included posts about these hikes on Kamloops Trails. We estimate that we have done 100 different hikes on established trails, over headlands, scrambling down to remote beach routes, on muddy jungle paths, through tunnels, into craters, over lava fields, up cinder cones, along steep cliffs and pali, and through forests and swamps.
A few trails have been done numerous times and we will continue to return to them in upcoming years.
