Painted Bluffs Provincial Park is found on the north side of Kamloops Lake with no road, nor trail access.
Driving Directions/Trailheads:
- The easiest access to the park is by boat, landing on the shores of the lake, and the hiking up into the hills. We have done this by kayak a few times. See the link below.
- Hikers can go to the Painted Bluffs by hiking over ridges and through gullies from the Copper Creek Road. There are no trails so navigation is required.
- We have also hiked in to the Bluffs from the Carbine creek Road. There are easier slopes to hike, but it is a longer route.
- We have also hiked in from the east along Kamloops Lake from Tranquille. That took us 8 hours one way.
