A few informal trails and routes through rocky hills above the South Thompson River Valley.

Driving Directions/Trailhead:

• Drive east on Shuswap Road from the Lafarge Bridge and continue past Rivershore Golf Course.
• Continue past the river homes and climb the hill.
• A gravel road climbs the slopes bearing north, the access route for the Lion’s Head Hills.
• As properties become developed more fences appear.   At this point there is still access to a few of the routes.

Trails:

• Every time we hike in the area we do a new route.   There are single tracks, double tracks, and some open terrain so any hike in the area will require navigation and exploration.
• There are a number of rocky open hilltops with good views.
• tTere are fencelines near the top of the Lions Head Hills so do a loop above Lions Hill Hill and below the fencelines.
