We are out hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring almost every day so we can summarize conditions out there for other hikers.

• Maniing Park – lots of snow for good snowshoeing conditions
• Dewdrop Range hills – mostly dry with some snow in gullies and north-face slopes
• Established hiking trails – lots of compact ice so traction devices are recommended
• Cooney bay – dry conditions
• Lower grasslands – some dry conditions and some ice on well-used trails
• Middle Grasslands – good hiking off trail
• Jacko Lake – easy hiking on the road in but some ice under the snow
• Rose Hill – icy on established trails and snowy off trail
