The Sandhill Cranes are Migrating
Sandhill cranes cross our area in April heading to breeding grounds in northern lands. On the way back, Greater Sandhill cranes often land in places like the Campbell Range where we can spot them. We have also spotted them near McQueen Lake and in the Pinantan Lake area.
We were able to observe them in pairs on Campbell Lake recently. Hover your cursor for a caption or click for a full-sized image.
