On a cold and windy day the route was to start at the Home Depot Trailhead and hike into Kenna Cartwright Park.   The sun was shining on the open part of the trail as it climbed northwest on the Reservoir Trail. 

Views extended east and north over the Industrial Park and beyond to Mt. Peter and Paul and the Paul Creek Valley.  

The route turned onto the Doc Findlay Loop, then down the Kinnikinnik Trail. 

Kinninikinnik is a steep single track trail that provides a loop route back.

Extended views across the valley can be enjoyed on Kinnikinnik before it descends back down to the Reservoir Trail,  

For this hike microspikes were worn over hiking boots, providing stable steady hiking on snowy trails. 

This was a great hike for a cold day, 4 km with some hills and good snowy tracks.
