We have hiked on the Mount Revelstoke Trails a number of times and on some of those outings, we hiked from the end of the Mt. Revelstoke Parkway along the Miller and Eva Lake Trail, then up the Jade Lakes Trail to Jade Pass.   The hike to Jade Pass without going to Eva Lake is about 6.4 km (each way).   

In July, the steep climb into the pass meant traversing late-season snowfields. 

From the Pass, Upper Jade Lake below is a 2.5 km hike, but also a drop of 374 m down (then back up) so we usually don’t hike down to the lakeshore.   We usually hike up the ridges to the north and south for expanded views of the Selkirks. 

By climbing the ridge to the north, we can see northeast to the summit of Mt. Williamson and the Clachnacudain Range beyond.  

By climbing over the ridge to the south we can see across the Illecillewaet River Valley to the Selkirk Mountains, with the Albert Peaks on the left.
