Harper Mountain
You can take the lift to the top of Harper in the winter and there are cross-country and snowshoe trails on the south side that go near the top of the mountain. You can also drive fairly high up, then hike to the top. As you approach the lodge, note the road bearing south. This is used by cross-country skiers in winter and mountain bikers in the summer. You can hike all the way from here, or you can drive up the road as far as you can, park and continue to climb. Trails above this road are mostly mountain bike single tracks, but they do go over top of the mountain. It makes a decent hike once the snows are clear. Wildflowers cover the ski runs and there are fine views from the top. You can explore the top and return by the same route.
