Tuktakamin Mountain towers over Falkland.   Another route up to the top can be found by following these directions:

• Between Westwold and Falkland, turn up onto the newer Pinaus Lake Road which is sometimes called the Ingram Creek Forest Service Road.   Continue to climb up to the plateau.
• At a major (signed) intersection (at about 6.5km , turn left onto the Wills Lake Road.   Follow it as it winds its way east towards Tuktakamin.
• As the road approaches the final pyramid-shape of Tuk, look for a trailhead sign (Tuk Trail) on the uphill side.   (trailhead at N 50° 27.512 W 119° 35.804)
• The trail winds its way to the top where a loop trail can be followed.
• It is possible to drive to the top with a 4WD vehicle.
• Return by the same route.
